This is a very nice looking leather bracelet. I can't speak about the validity of the magnetic health benefits promised, because I am not a medical professional. I always doubt the claims for magnetic cures, though. If it were that easy, we'd all walk around in perfect health covered in magnets. I got this simply for the good-looking bracelet that it is.This is the first bracelet I've seen with the ability to change the length simply by adding or removing the additional link. The links lock in place with a combination of mechanical and magnetic closure -- and they stay closed, unlike some magnetic-only closures. Without the extra link, the bracelet is eight inches long; the extra link adds one half inch.I have continually worn a black leather bracelet of some type in memory of my son, who died in 2010, so I have gone through several styles in the intervening eleven years.
